STEP 1: GET PAID FIRST.

No exceptions. No start dates before payment clears. If they push back, three words end the conversation: "operationalize the engagement."

That phrase signals that your team has real infrastructure work to do before activation — tracking, reporting, systems, content setup. That prep costs time. They pay for it upfront.

STEP 2: AUDIT BEFORE YOU BUILD.

Before creating a single piece of new content, do a full inventory of what they already have. I find untapped assets in almost every client's digital infrastructure — old recordings, underused case studies, past campaigns that never got distributed.

Repurposing existing content is the fastest path to quick wins in the first 30 days. Don't reinvent the wheel when there's gold in their archives.

STEP 3: OUTCOMES, NOT GOALS.

"We want more leads" is a goal. "100 new patients per month by month 4" is an outcome.

Use the Magic Wand Method: "If I could magically wave a wand over your business at 90 days — what does success look like?"

That answer becomes the north star. Every campaign, every piece of content, every tactical decision points at that target.

STEP 4: LOCK IN THE YEAR.

Once early results land, I offer a reduced monthly rate for a 12-month commitment. I drop from $2,000/month to $1,500/month.

It sounds like leaving money on the table.

It's not.

Predictable MRR at $1,500/month for 12 months destroys a $2,000/month 90-day engagement in total value AND in cash flow stability.

Long-term sustainable growth over short-term revenue spikes. Always.

STEP 5: MARKET YOUR CONTENT.

Here's the disconnect that kills most businesses: they create content and wait. That is not a strategy.

You have to MARKET your content. Schedule posts. Send newsletters. Run ads to your best content. Repurpose one recording into 14 pieces. Build the content flywheel.

Content is the oil of the revenue engine. Without it, the best machine in the world stalls.
